Andrea Doyle Asman
Andrea is the principal of Litwin Asman PC law firm in Litchfield, Connecticut. She resides in Morris with her husband and three children. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts with a Bachelors of Arts degree and from the University of Connecticut School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. She served on the Board of Directors for the Northwestern Connecticut Girl Scout Council. She is a member of the Litchfield County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and The Community Foundation of Northwest Connecticut, Inc. She is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Connecticut and the Federal District of Connecticut.
During law school, she worked as a clerk in the Litchfield Superior Court and the Hartford Superior Court. Following that, she worked for the Lawyers Group for Colonial Limited Partnership Investors for six years, first as the Depository Liaison managing the document depository and document abstraction for the Colonial Realty litigation, and then as an attorney conducting class action depositions, researching and drafting pleadings, handling investor inquiries, and administering the distribution of settlement proceeds.
She has been a member of the Litwin Asman team since 2000. Her current practice focuses on estate planning, trust formation and administration, probate administration, elder law planning, commercial and residential real estate, business law, and foreclosure prosecution and defense.
